No place to Hide- A book about War

No Place to HideA Brain Surgeon’s Long Journey Home from the Iraq War

By W. Lee Warren

This book opened my eyes and took me to the front line of the war! before I continue I msut point out this is adult content , especially some of the pictures of surgery! All this said I did enjoy this volume and you will too.   This is a true story that was very touching! He offers a unique perspective into the war in Iraq by giving us a doctor’s viewpoint .

The only thing in this book that made me mad was his divorce. The rest of the book touched me in a deep way! Apart from this  this is a very interesting account of the war! learn about his life in a totally different world , that most of us Lord willing will never face but that we should know about to appreciate all the sacrifices!Told in the first person from journals kept during the deployment and including the adjustment upon arriving home, this book is a great read. Do read if you can!
