We will have a reverence for God.

 Proverbs 2:1-5 says
My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom and apply thine heart to understanding; If though seekest her as silver, and searches for her as for hid treasures; Then though shalt understand the fear of the Lord, and find knowledge of God.
We must have faith in god just as John Dickinson writes “ I do profess faith in God the father, and in Jesus Christ his Eternal Son the true God, and in the Holy spirit, One God blessed for evermore; and I do acknowledge the holy scriptures of the old and New Testaments to be given by Divine inspiration.” Nehemiah 9:7 Thou art the LORD the God who didst choose Abra, and broughtest him forth of Ur of the Chaldean and gavest him the name pf Abraham. Psalm 30:2  Psalm 11:1

Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes; fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
How can we be wise? I think Henri Jean Fabrre says it best” Without Him I understand nothing; without Him all is darkness.” Job 6:24  Teach me, and  I will hold my tongue: and cause me to understand wherin I have erred.
We know the Bible and what is says. If we are busy all the daylong it will give us less time for sinning. Charles Kingsley in A treasury of Contentment says “ thank God every morning when you get up that you have something to do that day which must be done, whether you like it or not. Being forced to work and forced to do your best will breed in you temperance and self-control. Diligence and strength of will; cheerfulness and contentment and a hundred virtues which the idle will never know.” What a blessing to know that when keeping busy we are restring form so many sins and not just one.
Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; pride and arrogance, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. We often publicly announce my Masters business is mine but if we allow some area of our life to spin out of contrail God will continue to bring it up until we deal with it. Many of us appear to be all right in general, but there are still some areas in which we are careless and lazy, which is a sign we have not totally rendered all to God. Carelessness is an insult to the Lord.   You see we are a people set apart for God just as Numbers 23: 9 .
Spirit, thus we should have no carelessness about us either in the way we worship God, or even in the way we eat and drink. Our relationship with God must be upright or else he will have to chastise us by bring us back in countless ways to the same point until we transform our life. He our mighty lord and God never tires of bringing us back to the same point until we have learned the lesson because His purpose is to produce the finished product. We must remember we are what we are because of God just as Gerald Ford said, “ Without God there could be no American form of government, nor an American way of life.”

Proverbs 9:10, and 11 The fear of the Lord is the begging of wisdom; and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
If we have the love of the lord in us we will do what Titus 3:2 says To speak evil of no man, to be gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. We should do as Garfield did make it a habit to read a chapter in the Bible every evening by reading a chapter or a verse before we go to sleep. pictures sent by J.B years ago!
